The Claflin women’s basketball team made a grand entrance into its first-ever Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Tournament, knocking off Chowan University, 69-65, Tuesday (Feb. 26) at Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte, NC.

Frank Martin and the Gamecocks have five games left (four in the regular season and at least one in the SEC Tournament) to prove to the NCAA Tournament committee they belong in March’s Big Dance.
