COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The mother of a missing South Carolina boy is set to go on trial on a charge of not being honest with investigators about the boy's whereabouts.

SUMTER, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say the remains of an 18-year-old man last seen leaving a library in Sumter have been found on the side of a highway. A pathologist confirmed that the bones found by a man collecting cans were Aaron Abraham, who was last seen on security camera footage leaving the Sumter County Library on July 19 as it closed.
