Panel meets to discuss SC constitutional amendment

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A panel is meeting to determine if voters need a detailed explanation for a ballot question about whether South Carolina's governor and lieutenant governor should run on the same ticket.

Additional cases of West Nile Virus identified in SC

After a Charleston County woman was proven recently to be infected with West Nile, three more cases of the virus in humans have been confirmed in South Carolina, the state Department of Health and Environmental Control announced today.
