The Town of Irmo has announced the two-day closure of the Irmo Community Park for renovations.
City Council approved an provision allowing the Finlay Park Revitalization and Construction Project to move forward Tuesday night.
“The Koger Center was built and opened in January of 1989, so we have been around for over 34 years. So obviously some things need some changes,” says Marketing and Communications Director for the Koger Center, Chip Wade.
The City of West Columbia’s Riverwalk Park Amphitheather entrance and parking lot will be closed starting on March 22 for repairs and renovations on the bathrooms.
The City Council of West Columbia voted to allocate $3.5 million from the $8.9 million received from the American Rescue Plan Act to fund improvements towards the Meeting Street Corridor.
