SEC releases women’s basketball schedule
Preseason No. 1 South Carolina women’s basketball got the remainder of its 2020-21 schedule today as the Southeastern Conference announced its league slate. Among the Gamecocks’ eight home SEC games will be two against teams that rank in the top 15 of the AP Preseason Poll and another against border rival Georgia.
No. 15 Coastal Carolina football game at Troy postponed
No. 15/17 Coastal Carolina’s football game scheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 14, at Troy at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Troy, Ala. has been postponed due to a combination of positive COVID-19 tests and injuries to a specific position group within the Troy football program.
Lawson named to media’s preseason All-SEC Second Team
Gamecock junior guard AJ Lawson was named to the Preseason All-SEC Second Team by the media, the league office announced on Thursday. Lawson, one of the SEC’s most explosive offensive players, is Carolina’s top returning scorer after pacing the team with 13.4 points per game last season.

Gamecocks release 2020-21 non-conference schedule
The Gamecocks released their non-conference schedule on Wednesday morning, which is set to begin two weeks from today (Nov. 25) with an exhibition matchup at Colonial Life Arena. Details on the exhibition will be released soon.
