An Upstate high school is starting their school year on a very sad note today, after a 16-year-old student just passed away from COVID-19. The school’s staff will be short-handed because a number of teachers, administrators and even bus drivers are out sick with COVID-19.
“Both of my kids have been excited since early June to get going. My daughter will be in 1st grade and my son is in pre-K,” Shaw said.
