Whipple, Irmo prepare for Dorman in 5A State Championship

After defeating Blythewood 48-47 with a buzzer-beater, Irmo will advance to the Lower State Championship game marking their 10th appearance in championship play. The Yellow Jackets will take on the defending champions, Dorman at 8:30 Friday night in Colonial Life Arena.
