Wednesday night's Furman at Clemson baseball game has been rained out and rescheduled for May 7th at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Former Clemson point guard Terrell McIntyre has pledged what athletic officials call a "significant'' contribution toward enhancements to the school's basketball facilities.

NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C., will play host to the 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship, as announced today by ACC Commissioner John Swofford.

After a 5-0 week increased its winning streak to 10 games, Monday, Clemson baseball moved up in the latest college baseball polls. The Tigers are ranked #12 by Collegiate Baseball, #20 by Baseball America and #24 in the coaches poll.

Starting tight end Sam Cooper and reserve quarterback Chad Kelly both suffered torn ACL injuries during Clemson’s Spring Football Game this past Saturday. The injuries happened in the first quarter just nine plays apart in the contest at Memorial Stadium. Head Coach Dabo Swinney made the announcement on Monday afternoon.

Freshman Steven Duggar's two-run, walkoff homer with two outs in the 11th inning lifted #17 Clemson to a 6-4 win over Wake Forest in front of 4,870 fans at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers, who swept the series 3-0 and won their 10th game in a row, improved to 26-11 overall and 12-6 in the ACC. The Demon Deacons fell to 19-20 overall and 4-14 in ACC play.

Former Clemson All-American Lucas Glover will begin play in his sixth Masters on Thursday at 12:35 PM off the first tee at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA. Glover is the only former Tiger in the field. He is in the fourth year of a five year exemption based on his 2009 US Open Championship.

Jon McGibbon’s run-scoring single in the ninth inning gave #17 Clemson the lead and the Tigers added two more runs in the frame to defeat Western Carolina 12-9 in front of 1,373 fans at Hennon Stadium on Tuesday night.

Clemson University Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich announced on Monday that Audra Smith has been chosen to lead the Women’s Basketball program. Smith, a 1992 Virginia graduate, has spent the last nine seasons at the helm of the UAB program. She led the Blazers to 57 wins over the last three seasons, the most in any three-year period at UAB in 17 years.

Future Clemson women’s golfer Ashlan Ramsey make the cut by three shots at the Kraft Nabisco Championship in Rancho Mirage, CA on Friday afternoon. The native of Milledgeville, GA, who will be one of the leaders of J.T. Horton’s first Clemson women’s golf teams this coming August shot a second round 75 and stands in 42nd place after 36 holes of the first major of the year on the LPGA Tour.

In his second start of the season, junior Joe Costigan totaled a career-high three RBIs when he capped the Tigers’ six-run seventh inning with a three-run double in Clemson’s 7-5 win over Boston College in front of 1,281 fans at Commander Shea Field on Friday afternoon. The Tigers, who took a 1-0 lead in the series, improved to 19-11 overall and 7-6 in the ACC. The Eagles dropped to 5-23 overall and 0-12 in ACC play.

Ashlan Ramsey, a high school senior who signed a national letter of intent with Clemson last fall, will play in the Kraft Nabisco Championship on the LPGA Tour this April 4-7. It is the first of four Majors on the LPGA Tour. Ramsey attends Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, GA and is ranked among the top women’s amateur players in the nation.
