On Monday, the Columbia Municipal Court announced that they will implement their new “Spring Forward Amnesty Program” on every Friday this May. The City of Columbia says this program will allow citizens with outstanding bench warrants or fines to settle their cases without being arrested.

A City of Columbia park has a new look. Tuesday afternoon, the city unveiled the new and improved Fairwold Park on Eddy Street. According to city officials, the park now features an outdoor gym, picnic tables and landscaping improvements.
