Prescribed burn scheduled for Wednesday, November 9 in Congaree National Park
Officials with the National Park Service say there will be a prescribed burn at Congaree National Park during the last two weeks of February and the first week of March.

According to officials, a prescribed burn is scheduled for next month at Congaree National Park.
If you’re looking to get outside and enjoy this warm weather, you may experience some delays if you’re trying to get into the Congaree National Park. Park rangers say they will be conducting a prescribed burn Thursday, March 11.
On Monday, Congaree National Park announced that they will open the auditorium in the Harry Hampton Visitor Center for guests to visit. The change will go into effect on Friday, November 13.
