The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a 59-year-old man who was reported missing after being last seen at his home on Sunday. Deputies are looking for Leonard Dover, who was last seen at his home off R L Coward Road, and was headed towards Garners Ferry Road on foot.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of a shooting at an El Cheapo gas station around 12 a.m. on Sunday.

Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford released the identity of an individual killed during a shooting at Shandon Crossing Apartments on Saturday. Coroner Rutherford says the victim is 27-year-old Charles R. Fulk, of Graham, North Carolina.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says they are investigating a fatal shooting after a man was found dead on 500 block of South Beltline Boulevard. Authorities say the victim’s body was discovered on Saturday around 6:30 a.m. Officials say the man had a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy is in serious condition following a single car collision Thursday morning in Irmo. The department says Sergeant Michael Mazerolle was rushed to the hospital following the collision on Koons Road.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a missing 15-year-old who was last seen on Sunday. Officials say Azirus Williams was last seen leaving his family member’s home on Cloister Place and had been using his cell phone to communicate with others until Tuesday night.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has been named the 2021 National Sheriff of the Year by the National Sheriff’s Association. Lott was nominated for the award by Police2Peace foundation. This means he wasn’t nominated by someone in law enforcement, instead it was someone from the community.
