COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Wednesday, reported  24 additional deaths and 1,497 new confirmed cases of coronavirus. DHEC says there are currently 1,160 hospital beds occupied by patients who have either tested positive or are under investigation for COVID-19. Correctional officer at Broad River arrested for possession of marijuana

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – A correctional officer at the Broad River Correctional Institution has been arrested for the simple possession of marijuana. The S.C. Teen boy killed in stabbing in Columbia; two people detained

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – A 13-year-old boy has died after a stabbing incident in Columbia Tuesday afternoon. According to Columbia Police, the stabbing happened between the teen and at least one other young male around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Ardincaple Dr. and Falling Springs Rd.
