Greenville Bans Texting While Driving

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ Greenville has banned texting while driving. City council voted Monday to make it illegal to use a hand-held device while driving. The ban taking effect April 1 also applies to vehicles stopped in traffic or at a stop sign.

Richland County deputies say around 11:30 this morning, two people entered a home on Brookfield Road. Investigators say one man was shot during the incident, his condition is unknown at this time.
