Clemson Begins Season Friday

The Clemson women’s soccer team travels to Charleston, S.C. for two matches to start the 2015 season. The Tigers face Texas on Friday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. in the first game of the Charleston Nike Classic before facing College of Charleston on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 2:30 p.m. Both games will be played at the Patriots Point Athletics Complex in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Kopp Returns to Tigers Baseball Program

Former Tiger righthander David Kopp was added to the Clemson staff as a student assistant coach, announced by head coach Monte Lee. Kopp was a three-year letterman (2005-07) at Clemson and played eight seasons in the minors.

USC Releases 2016 SEC Schedule

The Southeastern Conference released its men's basketball league schedule for the 2016 campaign on Wednesday evening on SEC Now on the SEC Network. The schedule, which features an 18-game lineup, will see each of Carolina's games broadcast with the possibility of six contests on the ESPN family of networks and 13 on the SEC Network. All of the games will be available to be seen from anywhere in the nation.

NeSmith Tops Kennerly, Advances at U.S. Amateur

South Carolina senior Matt NeSmith defeated Clemson’s Billy Kennerly 1 up in his opening round match at the U.S. Amateur Championship on Wednesday at Olympia Fields Country Club’s North Course.

Capps and Kennerly Eliminated at US Amateur Match Play

Miller Capps and Billy Kennerly were both eliminated in the first round of the 2015 United States Amateur on Wednesday afternoon at the Olympia Fields North Course near Chicago, Ill. Capps, who will be a senior this year, and Kennerly, who graduated last May, were the first Clemson duo to reach match play since 2009.

South Carolina started its 2015 men’s soccer exhibition slate in fine fashion, shutting out Gardner-Webb 3-0 on Sunday evening at Stone Stadium.

Clemson's Kennerly Wins Canadian Amateur

Billy Kennerly, Clemson’s top golfer for the 2014-15 season, won the Canadian Amateur Golf Tournament in Toronto, Canada on Thursday afternoon with a 72-hole score of 275, 12-under par.
