Clemson Sweeps Doubleheader, Wins Wake Series

The No. 14 Clemson Tigers totaled 14 hits en route to a 7-4 victory over Wake Forest at Wake Forest Baseball Park in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday. The Tigers (12-6, 5-1 ACC) swept the doubleheader and won the series 2-1 over the Demon Deacons (13-8, 3-3 ACC).

Tigers Even Wake Series With 16-6 Win

Clemson jumped out to a 9-1 lead in the fifth inning and held on for a 16-6 victory over Wake Forest at Wake Forest Baseball Park in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. The Tigers (11-6, 4-1 ACC) evened the series 1-1 against the Demon Deacons (13-7, 3-2 ACC).

Clemson Loses 63-62 Heartbreaker To Duke

Trailing by as much as 13 in the second half, Clemson rallied to take a lead into the final seconds of the game until Duke’s Rodney Hood made a pair of free throws with 3.8 left to give the Blue Devils a 63-62 victory in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals Friday at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Wake Rallies To Take Clemson Series Opener

Behind two runs in the eighth inning, Wake Forest rallied to top No. 14 Clemson 4-3 at Wake Forest Baseball Park Friday night. The Demon Deacons (13-6, 3-1 ACC) took a 1-0 series lead over the Tigers (10-6, 3-1 ACC).

Clemson To Play Doubleheader Saturday

Due to the threat of inclement weather Sunday, the Clemson vs. Wake Forest series will conclude with a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Saturday's game was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. There will be approximately 40 minutes in between the nine-inning games Saturday.

Tigers Top Georgia Tech 69-65 In OT

Clemson overcame a nine-point deficit in the second half and survived a second straight overtime game, prevailing 69-65 over Georgia Tech in the second round of the ACC Tournament. Daniel Miller forced overtime for the Yellow Jackets with 0.9 seconds left and Clemson trailed by as much as three in overtime, but found a way to win its 20th game of the 2013-14 season.

The men's basketball team earned a first-round bye and the No. 6 seed for this week's ACC Tournament and plays the winner of the 11 vs. 14 matchup between Boston College and Georgia Tech on Thursday at 9 p.m.

Clemson broke a halftime tie and committed just nine turnovers for the second straight game on its way to a 58-54 victory over Miami on Tuesday at Littlejohn Coliseum. The win, Clemson’s second in the last 48 hours, was the program’s 10th ACC win of the season – only the fourth time the Tigers have won 10 ACC games in a season. The Tigers moved to 19-10 overall and 10-7 in league play. Miami fell to 15-15, 6-11 in the ACC.

Western Carolina scored six runs in the second inning and seven runs in the fourth inning to cruise to an 18-10 win over #15 Clemson at Hennon Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. The Catamounts (8-2), who totaled 16 hits in the game, extended the nation’s longest home winning streak to 18.

Dabo Suspends 4 Players For Opener

Head football coach Dabo Swinney announced Tuesday the suspension of four players for the first game of the 2014 season at Georgia on August 30. David Beasley, Shaq Anthony, Garry Peters and Corey Crawford will miss the season opener due to a violation of team rules.

Women's Soccer Leads Clemson In Classroom

Nine of Clemson’s athletic teams and nearly half of all student-athletes exceeded a Fall Semester grade point average of 3.0, according to data released by the University Office of Institutional Research (OIR). As a whole, student-athletes earned a grade point average of 2.88 for the semester.

Clemson Hoops Beats Maryland In 2OT

In a game that featured 13 lead changes and two overtimes, Clemson prevailed 77-73 over Maryland in the final scheduled meeting between the two as ACC foes Sunday in Littlejohn Coliseum. Injured Clemson RB Will Miss Spring

Clemson running back Tyshon Dye suffered a torn Achilles tendon during a workout on Friday morning. The redshirt freshman from Elberton, GA will miss spring practice, but Head Coach Dabo Swinney hopes to have him back in time for the fall season.
