Two former Gamecocks suiting up in NBA Summer League

The 2019 NBA Summer League begins on Monday, July 1, and a pair of former Gamecocks are set to participate this summer. Recent graduate, Chris Silva (2015-19), will play with the Miami Heat in both the California Classic in Sacramento, and the Las Vegas Summer League, while former Gamecock Duane Notice (2013-17) will play with the Toronto Raptors in Las Vegas. 

South Carolina Wins 4th-Straight Palmetto Series Crown

The University of South Carolina has won the Certified SC Grown Palmetto Series for the fourth year in a row. The Palmetto Series is an annual points competition between the state's flagship universities in head-to-head athletic events. Points were also awarded for highest team GPA and for a food drive tackling hunger in their communities.

George Rogers gives back at 28th annual Gala

George Rogers gave USC a Heisman Trophy, left a career that's kept him home on top of the program's record book, and provided memories and moments that will be idolized forever in Carolina lore. It's not enough for arguably the greatest Gamecock of all time. He wants to give more.
