The Columbia-Richland Fire Department says crews responded to a fire at a home on Breeland Drive this afternoon. Officials say no one was injured in the fire, but five people were left displaced.

According to the officials, the Richland County Marshal’s Office determined that Tuesday morning’s house fire on Whitney Street was intentionally set. Authorities say the case has been turned over to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
The Columbia-Richland Fire Department says at least four people are now without a home, after a fire spread through a house around 9:40 a.m. on Whitney Street. Officials say the fire is out, and no one was injured.

Just before 11 a.m., crews with the Columbia-Richland Fire Department say they were dispatched to a house fire in the 300 block of Carriage Oaks Drive.
“There’s a blood crisis right now, the lowest supply in 10 years,” said Sally Fox, American Red Cross account manager.
No injuries were reported after a home caught fire off of Chaney Street this afternoon.
