3,435 new covid-19 cases, 63 new deaths Saturday

COLUMBIA(WOLO): 3,435 more South Carolinians tested positive for COVID-19, according to DHEC Saturday, and 63 more have died. South Carolina now has 373,399 confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began and 5,855 total deaths. DHEC to set up call line dedicated to scheduling vaccine appointments

Starting next week, there will be some new resources available for those wanting to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Interim Director Dr. Brannon Traxler announced a vaccine call line will be set up with about 100 operators working only on vaccine scheduling.

Amazon sends letter to President Biden asking for their employees to be prioritized in vaccination efforts

Amazon wasted no time reaching out to the new Biden administration to get the coronavirus vaccine for its essential workers.
