Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the cause of death for a Richland County teenager whose body was discovered in Lexington County early Thursday morning. The coroner says 15-year-old Sanaa Amenhotep died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott held a press conference this morning to inform the public that the body of a Northeast Columbia teen reported missing earlier this month was found in Lexington County this morning. The sheriff says they have one juvenile in custody for kidnapping and they are looking for another suspect.
On Sunday evening, the family of a missing teenager, along with Revealing Word Ministries, held a prayer vigil in front of the Statehouse for her safe return. According to her family, 15-year-old Sanaa Amenhotep was last seen leaving her home in Northeast Columbia on April 5.
