The University of South Carolina baseball team completed a three-game sweep of Bethune-Cookman with a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon (March 11) at Founders Park. The Gamecocks won the first contest 8-5 and took the nightcap 10-3.

NCAA Selection Show FAMdemonium is Back

South Carolina women’s basketball invites fans to FAMdemonium at Colonial Life Arena on Sun., March 12. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the event, which features food trucks, photo ops around the concourse and a performance art creation by Jared Emerson ahead of the NCAA Selection Show airing at 8 p.m. Admission to the event is free with general admission seating.

Zia Cooke named a finalist for Dawn Staley Award

South Carolina senior Zia Cooke is one of four finalists for the 2023 Dawn Staley Award, the Phoenix Club of Philadelphia announced over the weekend. She is the fourth Gamecock guard to be a finalist for the award, joining Destanni Henderson and award winners Tyasha Harris (2020) and Tiffany Mitchell (2015).

South Carolina senior Aliyah Boston earned a spot on the 2023 John R. Wooden Award presented by Wendy’s National Ballot, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced today on ESPN.com. She has appeared on the national ballot every year of her career, and she won the award in 2022.
