The Riverbanks Zoo was able to help save the life of a North Carolina man after he was bitten by his pet. Officials in Raleigh say, on Sunday, the man was bitten by his pet Green Mamba, a highly venomous snake.
You have a chance to adopt a Riverbanks Zoo resident! The zoo is offering its “Wild Parent” sponsorship program. For donations ranging from $35-$150, sponsors can “adopt” animals including flamingos, lions and even a rhino.
