The Clemson women’s soccer team beat the Wofford Terriers by a score of 5-1 Monday night Sept. 7, 2015 at Snyder Field. Salma Anastasio who netted two goals in the match led the Tiger’s in scoring.

Williams Injures Neck, Taken To Hospital

Clemson receiver Mike Williams suffered a neck injury as he hit a padded goalpost while scoring a touchdown in the first quarter vs. Wofford today. He was moving extremities and was taken to Oconee Hospital in Seneca. We will have an update after the game.

Lexington Native Joining Clemson Golf

Eighth ranked South Carolina fell 2-1 to 23rd ranked Clemson on Friday night at Riggs Field in women’s soccer action. The Gamecocks are now 2-1-0 on the year, while the win lifted the Tigers to 2-0 for the season.

Reader Takes Time Away From Tigers

Clemson Begins Season Friday

The Clemson women’s soccer team travels to Charleston, S.C. for two matches to start the 2015 season. The Tigers face Texas on Friday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. in the first game of the Charleston Nike Classic before facing College of Charleston on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 2:30 p.m. Both games will be played at the Patriots Point Athletics Complex in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Kopp Returns to Tigers Baseball Program

Former Tiger righthander David Kopp was added to the Clemson staff as a student assistant coach, announced by head coach Monte Lee. Kopp was a three-year letterman (2005-07) at Clemson and played eight seasons in the minors.

Capps and Kennerly Eliminated at US Amateur Match Play

Miller Capps and Billy Kennerly were both eliminated in the first round of the 2015 United States Amateur on Wednesday afternoon at the Olympia Fields North Course near Chicago, Ill. Capps, who will be a senior this year, and Kennerly, who graduated last May, were the first Clemson duo to reach match play since 2009.
