Richland County Coroner releases name of man killed in house fire on Keats Street

Today, Columbia police, Richland County deputies and Columbia firefighters rolled up their sleeves to save lives and have a little friendly competition. Each year, departments partner with the Red Cross to see which agency can donate the most blood.
Just after 11 a.m. on Friday, Columbia Fire crews say they responded to fire that tore through a home on Durham Creek Court. Authorities do not report any injuries, but they say seven people have been displaced due to the fire.
