Clemson to host Military Appreciation Day Saturday

Clemson University will celebrate Military Appreciation Day on Saturday during the football team’s 7 p.m. game against Duke, and the university has a full slate of activities planned throughout the day and throughout the week in conjunction with the event’s 25th anniversary.

Harris named to Naismith watch list

South Carolina junior guard Tyasha Harris earned a spot on the Citizen Naismith Trophy Watch List as the Atlanta Tipoff Club tapped the top 50 female collegiate student-athletes in the nation. Named in honor of Dr. James Naismith, inventor of the game of basketball, the family of Naismith Awards annually recognizes the top men’s and women’s college and high school basketball student-athletes and coaches.

Clemson and Georgia agree to home-and-home series for 2029-2030

Clemson announced today that it has formally added a home-and-home series against Georgia to its schedules for the 2029 and 2030 football seasons. Clemson will play host to the first meeting on Sept. 15, 2029, and the Tigers will make a return trip to face the Bulldogs in Athens, Ga., on Aug. 31, 2030.

Lawrence and Wilkins earn ACC weekly honors

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that quarterback Trevor Lawrence (ACC Rookie of the Week) and defensive tackle Christian Wilkins (ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week) have earned ACC weekly honors for their performances in Clemson’s 27-7 victory at Boston College on Saturday.

USC takes care of season opener at Alabama State

With four Gamecocks in double figures, South Carolina cruised to a 94-38 win at Alabama State to open the 2018-19 season. Junior Te'a Cooper led the offense with 17 points, while freshman Destanni Henderson poured in four 3-pointers en route to 13 points.

No. 2 Clemson dominates No. 17 Boston College, clinches Atlantic

No. 2 Clemson clinched the ACC Atlantic Division crown for the fourth consecutive season on Saturday, defeating the No. 17 Boston College Eagles, 27-7, at Alumni Stadium. With the win, Clemson remained undefeated on the season at 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the ACC, while Boston College moved to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

Gamecocks open NCAA Tournament Friday night against UNCG

Gamecocks release 2019 home football ticket prices

The University of South Carolina Athletics Department announced today that all non-discounted season tickets for 2019 will be priced at $415, the same price as in 2018. Single game ticket prices will start at $40.
