Liberty overcame an early 3-0 deficit to defeat No. 20 Clemson 4-3 Tuesday night at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. It was the first meeting at Doug Kingsmore Stadium between Liberty (32-9) and Clemson (24-16) since 1999.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Clemson’s matchups for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons Tuesday. Clemson continues to face both Florida State and Georgia Tech as its primary partners, while adding NC State and Notre Dame next season for the home-and-home series.
The schedule for the two games slated at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Saturday, May 3 has been adjusted. Clemson and James Madison were originally scheduled to play at noon, followed by a game between James Madison and UNLV at 4 p.m. The two games swapped times, therefore the new schedule at Doug Kingsmore Stadium is as follows:
Noon – James Madison vs. UNLV
4 p.m. – James Madison at Clemson
