A new law is now in effect that could give you a ticket if you drive too slow. The so-called "Slowpoke" law fines drivers $25 for continuously driving in the left lane without passing anyone.
The Open Carry with Training Act takes effect today in South Carolina. It allows South Carolinians with a concealed weapons permit to openly carry a gun in public. The new law also eliminates a $50 permit fee.
