Lexington's Olivia Thompson to play for Dawn Staley, USC

Gamecock head women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley announced that Olivia Thompson (Lexington, S.C./Lexington) has submitted her enrollment deposit to attend the University and will play for the Gamecocks. Thompson will have four years of eligibility beginning with the 2019-20 academic year.

Clemson’s Dabo Swinney has been selected as the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference Football Coach of the Year following the Tigers’ unbeaten regular season and fourth consecutive Atlantic Division title.

No. 2 Clemson tops USC, 56-35 for fifth-straight win in rivalry

Completing its seventh undefeated regular season in school history, the No. 2/2 Clemson football team defeated in-state rival South Carolina, 56-35, on a cold and foggy Saturday night at Memorial Stadium. With the win, the Tigers’ fifth straight in the series, Clemson improved to 12-0 overall, while South Carolina moved to 6-5 on the year.
