TJ Brunson on loss to Clemson: "It definitely hurts"

Richland Northeast grad TJ Brunson still hasn't been a part of a Carolina team that's been on the winning end of the Palmetto Bowl rivalry. He says he and the Gamecocks will be thinking about the loss to the Tigers all offseason.

No. 2 Clemson tops USC, 56-35 for fifth-straight win in rivalry

Completing its seventh undefeated regular season in school history, the No. 2/2 Clemson football team defeated in-state rival South Carolina, 56-35, on a cold and foggy Saturday night at Memorial Stadium. With the win, the Tigers’ fifth straight in the series, Clemson improved to 12-0 overall, while South Carolina moved to 6-5 on the year.

No. 7 Signee Zia Cooke Joins Gamecocks

South Carolina head women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley announced that Zia Cooke (pronounced ZY-uh) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University and play for the Gamecocks. The Toledo, Ohio, native will have four years of eligibility beginning with the 2019-20 academic year.
