A former Gamecock tight end will be in the NFL for at least the next few years.

The Gamecock baseball team is ranked No. 18 in the D1Baseball preseason Top-25 poll, which was announced Monday morning.

Keyshawn Bryant had 26 points and seven rebounds, and AJ Lawson had 22 points, five rebounds and five assists, scoring 18 in the first half for South Carolina.

In his career as a Gamecock, Wilson totaled 246 tackles (led the team with 85 in 2009), 15 tackles for loss, and four interceptions. 

Lindsey worked with new Gamecock defensive coordinator Clayton White for two seasons at Western Kentucky.
