Clemson University men’s basketball held Pittsburgh to just 16 first half points and 27.3 percent shooting en route to its convincing 62-48 victory. This marked the fourth time this season that Clemson has held its opponent to less than 50 total points – tied for the most in a season since the 2015-16 campaign.

Frank Martin and the Gamecocks have five games left (four in the regular season and at least one in the SEC Tournament) to prove to the NCAA Tournament committee they belong in March's Big Dance. Right now, the Gamecocks are not projected in the field of 68, but Martin believes if his guys take care of the last four regular season games, USC will be just fine.

The Claflin University Lady Panthers will begin their quest toward a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Tournament Championship on Tuesday (Feb. 26), taking on Chowan University in the first round inside the Bojangles’ Coliseum at 10 a.m.
