Gamecocks start SEC play 4-0 after rally win at Vanderbilt

A.J. Lawson hit two free throws with 23.1 seconds left, and the South Carolina Gamecocks rallied from a 12-point deficit in the second half to beat Vanderbilt 74-71 Wednesday night to remain perfect in Southeastern Conference play.

Gamecock softball picked to finish fourth in SEC

The Southeastern Conference released its preseason coaches' poll Wednesday where the Gamecocks were picked to finish fourth among the 13 teams. Florida, Georgia and Tennessee rounded out the top-four, while Arkansas was picked to finish fifth. 

Jeffery's drop ends Eagles season, Saints advance to NFC Title game

Nick Foles’ pass from the Saints 27 deflected off usually sure-handed receiver Alshon Jeffery with about two minutes remaining. A couple dozen Saints players surged off the sideline toward the end zone in celebration, while Jeffery fell face-first to the turf in agony.

Gamecocks Cruise to 76-53 Win over LSU on the Road

From start to finish #21/25 South Carolina women's basketball dominated LSU, defeating the Lady Tigers 76-53 in Baton Rouge Sunday night. The Gamecocks (12-4, 4-0 SEC) scored 29 points on 76.9 percent shooting in the first quarter and never looked back for their ninth-straight win over LSU.

19-0 start carries No. 21 South Carolina women by Gators

Bianca Cuevas-Moore hit four 3-pointers, two as South Carolina opened the game with a 19-0 run, and scored 16 points to lead the No. 21 Gamecocks to their seventh-straight win, 71-40 over Florida on Thursday night.
