FORT JACKSON, S.C. (AP) _ Soldiers in training at Fort Jackson will be treated in a newly-renovated health clinic with room for about 12,000 soldiers every year. Fort Jackson spokeswoman Nichole Riley says Tuesday's ribbon cutting at the McWethy Troop Medical Clinic opens renovated primary care, physical therapy, radiology and lab units.

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) _ Lancaster County officials are working to identify a man found dead in a burned house. Police Chief Harlean Howard says firefighters and officers were called to a home about 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The house was engulfed in flames with firefighters arrived.

Auburn Edges Gamecocks, 16-13

Auburn and its maligned defense bounced back in a big way on Saturday, defeating No. 10 South Carolina 16-13. The Tigers (4-1, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) overcame a spotty offense to wear down the Gamecocks at the end. Barrett Trotter found Phillip Lutzenkirchen for the go-ahead, 9-yard touchdown with 1:38 left.
