Army's Top Enlisted Leader: We Still Need Soldiers

FORT JACKSON, S.C. (AP) _ The Army's top enlisted leader says the smaller Army of the future will still require new professional soldiers. Sergeant Major of the Army Raymond Chandler spoke Thursday at Fort Jackson and addressed 1,100 of the service's newest military graduates.

The 2012 South Carolina State of the State address was held at the State Capitol Wednesday evening. While Governor Nikki Haley said a lot of achievements have been made during her first year in office, she admits there is still more work that needs to be done.
