RCSD investigating officer-involved shooting

The Richland County Sheriff's Department says they are investigating an officer-involved shooting that took place Monday afternoon. Authorities say the incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. at 2500 block of Marathon Drive. 

Molina Healthcare expanding Insurance Marketplace to 13 new counties in SC

On Monday, Molina Healthcare of South Carolina announced that they will be expanding their Insurance Marketplace to 13 additional counties in South Carolina. According to Molina Healthcare, the 13 counties are Berkeley, Darlington, Dorchester, Florence, Greenville, Greenwood, Horry, Laurens, Newberry, Richland, Spartanburg, Sumter, and Union. 

SCHP: Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle on U.S. 321 Sunday

South Carolina Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle in Lexington County Sunday. Authorities say it happened on U.S. Highway 321 South near Busbee Road after 6 p.m. According to troopers, the pedestrian was crossing the road when they were hit.
